We will also cover different management and behavioral topics each night, such as greeting guests politely and good door manners.

We will teach the foundation for all basic obedience commands, with special focus on the recall and leash walking. Special topics such as house training, crate training, and nutrition will also be covered. On the last day of class, all students will have the option of taking the S.T.A.R. puppy test to receive a certificate from the AKC.

Trick training is a fantastic option for those who just want to have some fun with their dog. The benefits of trick training include providing a good source of physical and mental stimulation, building muscle, teaching body awareness, improving your training skills, and just having fun. Some of the tricks that we will cover include shake, roll over, speak, playing dead, targeting skills, retrieves, and other fun skills. At the end of this class, dogs will have the chance to go for their Novice Trick Dog Title.
